About Dennis
Dennis Sales is becoming one of the most sought out golf instructors and golf coaches in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For his efforts, New England Golf Monthly voted him as the No. 2 instructor in New England for 2010 and was recently voted No. 1 in 2011.
Dennis is committed to creating an unparalleled learning environment to aid in player development. He has attained certifications from many of the foremost golf educational programs in the world and through his education is able to utilize industry-leading teaching technology such as TrackMan. He was the first, and remains the only, golf instructor/coach in Rhode Island to offer TrackMan to his students during golf lessons.
Dennis is dedicated to helping junior golfers become the player they want to be. In order to achieve that, he has gone through the highest level of training from the Titleist Performance Institute Junior Golf Coaching Certification Program. This program has allowed Dennis to learn the essential skills junior golfers need to succeed, replicating the training being taught at the TPI Junior Performance Center.
Dennis is a Performance Golf Instructor and Golf Coach who can be found giving golf lessons to adults and juniors at Button Hole during the summer months. He previously taught at prestigious Ledgemont Country Club, and Crystal Lake Golf Club where many of his students found tremendous success under his tutelage.
During the winter months, he keeps himself busy between golf lessons by continuously seeking out educational programs that are in the forefront of golf instruction. Dennis has spent time at the Mike Bender Golf Academy in Lake Mary, Fla. shadowing 2006 National LPGA Teacher of the Year Cheryl Anderson, and Mike Bender, the 2009 National PGA Teacher of the Year and coach whose stable of students includes Masters Champion Zach Johnson.
Dennis’s strong desire to continue to educate himself doesn’t stop there. He continuously attends golf summits and teaching seminars presented by 2008 National PGA Teacher of the Year Martin Hall and Todd Sones, one of Golf Digest’s Top 50 Greatest Teachers, and many more.
Dennis isn’t only sought for his teaching ability, but also for his knowledge. This past season he mentored Zach Baron, an aspiring PGA Professional that is enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University. To see how Zach is doing click here.
